The young Finn Raive who is working on a book on the peculiarities of national hunting in different countries comes to Russia. With a company comprising men of different standing he goes to a remote forestry officer’s post. The hunt turns into a traditional Russian drinking party. Together with the Russian hunters the Finn gets into all sorts of comic situations...
