In 2010 we were renamed to «Film Collection of Lenfilm Studio» - Saint-Petersburg affiliate of the federal unitary state enterprise «Joint State film collection».
FILM COLLECTION OF LENFILM STUDIO is based in St-Petersburg, Russia. It found its home in the environment of the legendary Lenfilm Studio – the oldest film studio in Russia.
We hold rights in the magnificent collection of Lenfilm Studio which counts up to 1400 feature movies. Among these all genres are present – drama, family, fairy-tales for kids and films for young audience, war, adventures, science fiction, history, filmed ballets and operas, older silent movies, etc. The formats that we offer are full-length features, mini TV series, and good-quality TV series of up to 10 episodes.
Among film directors who has worked at Lenfilm Studio there are a lot of truly big names, those who played a very important role in cinematography and are well known among cinephiles all over the world: Grigory Kozintsev, Semyon Aranovich, Iosif Heifitz, Vitaly Melnikov, Viktor Tregubovitch, Vladimir Bortko, Alexander Sokurov, Lidia Bobroba and many others.
Many our films participated and received awards at numerous IFFs.
Also we hold rights in big library of documentaries created at different Russian film studios. This one counts up to 3000 documentaries, chronicles and archives.
The main activity of FILM COLLECTION OF LENFILM STUDIO is licensing all kinds of rights in its big film collection. We offer our productions for TV, DVD, and theatrical distribution all over the world as well as for the newer forms of distribution emerging nowadays such as VOD / IPTV.
We care much about our library especially of older titles that need restoration. Monthly we restore several titles enriching our collection of high-quality materials.
